Five words: Manolo for the Big Girl. Finally, a fashion blog for those of us on the chunky/curvy side.... and I can't be happier.

We live to serve, my internet friend! Your blog with the non-hideous shoes of comfort and the blood red lipsticks is indeed superfantastic! You will have to let me know what your perfect true red is, Chanel discontinued mine and I have been a broken woman ever since.
Awww, Plumcake! You just made this blogger's day! Thank you so much for stopping by.
Sad to hear about Chanel d/c-ing your red lipstick - isn't it infuriating when that happens? :( I had one Chanel lipstick in my lifetime - can't remember the name, but it was a matte brown-mauve that I bought at a duty-free shop. A really nice color.
Right now my red is still MAC Underworld, which is more of a dark burgundy than a true red. Most of the folks I've talked to about red lipsticks agree that MAC *usually* has a red for everyone - especially with Russian Red (made famous by Madonna), MAC Red, "O," and the original Viva Glam I. I also like reds from Nars, Smashbox, Lancome, and L'Oreal HIP.
And while I haven't tried the line myself (though I'm familiar with Poppy King's work), Lipstick Queen seems to be getting a lot of attention for their reds.
You just reminded me... I have GOT to start writing about living my life as a "delicious apple" - what a great idea! Hugs! :)
